- The Dirty East Contest at the Flow yesterday was insane. But before I get to what went down, I just want to mention that my camera bag was stolen. While I was out on the park filming my friends were watching my bag. They got up for a minute to see what happened after someone fell really bad, and a thief made his move. Luckily I was filming at the time so they didn't get my video camera or my lens, but they got everything else. My digital camera, my chargers, lights, etc etc. It's sad that people think it's ok to do that. I hope whoever stole it reads this and realizes that it took me years of working and saving money to accumulate the video gear that I have/had, and that I'm not some rich kid that can just go out and buy all new stuff. I don't have a lot of money either, pal. But despite that I still had a great time. Hanging out with friends and making new ones still made it a fun weekend. Anyhow, on to the contest...
Tire tap to front flip from the top of the vert wall, 360 double downside whip, 720 barspin, perfect 900, bunnyhop 3 whips, wall ride to flairs, whip to whip back, there were so many insane moves that went down. I could go on all day trying to think of them all. But I'll have a video up later this week or early next week of all the crazy stuff that went down. Hopefully we'll get some photos up too, but as I said above, my camera was stolen. So if anyone took photos at the contest and would like to submit them, please do so. Email them to bud.perspectivesbmx@gmail.com or upload them to a photobucket and send the links.
Also, a big thanks goes out to Garey from Misled for hookin' me up with a fresh tape so I could continue filming. Check them out and see what kind of goods they have to offer.
