- Riding in Dayton has gotten pretty difficult lately. If you don't recall, a few days ago I made a post about Casey and Tony getting tickets for riding downtown. Well there is hope now... Dayton is building a skatepark! But we need everyone's help. There are already a few skateparks in the greater Dayton area with rules against bikes, we really don't want this to be another one of those parks. So we've gotta let the skatepark committee know that there are bikers out there that want to ride this thing. So here's what you do... send an email to the Dayton' Mayor's office at Rashella.lavender@cityofdayton.org, and simply tell them that you ride BMX and that you're very interested in a free concrete skatepark in Dayton. I will be really bummed if another skatepark goes up in the Dayton area and bikes aren't allowed in, especially considering how ticket happy cops seem to be lately.
Also, a myspace profile for the Dayton Skatepark Committee has been created. Be sure to add it as a friend. They also have a petition that you can cut and paste and print out in order to do your own petitioning. The only way bikes will be allowed is if they know we want in. That's what has happened with parks in the past, bikers didn't show enough interest during planning and they were excluded in the end. DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN THIS TIME!
One more thing, please, please, please, don't write any emails with an attitude. I know the whole bikes not allowed in skateparks thing sucks and it's a lame rule, but they're not going to want to listen to a bunch of punks, especially if their inbox is flooded with messages from a bunch of salty little bastards. So please, keep the messages short and sweet, and above all, polite. If you want a hassle free place to ride, it's up to you... Thank you for taking the time to do this.

- If you haven't seen FitLife yet, be sure to pick up a copy and check it out. As can be expected, the Fit team throws down some pretty serious tricks. I think the highlights for me were Chase DeHart, Mike Aitken, Van Homan, Ed/Tom split, and BF (who is still shreddin' hard). And thats a good portion of the video, so check it out. Also be sure to catch some footage of the PerspectivesBMX crew featured in the bonus.

- Add Ryan Howard to the injured list. He follows Troy's lead and gave himself a concussion and broken nose while in Louisville last weekend. Now you know where the title of the video came from, in case you didn't get it before. Everybody is "Goin' For Broke"...

The tapes are piling up...

manual the first 3 ledges to nose manual the last, Casey Longshore.
